Origin Story

IEC Partnership was created to focus on identifying obstacles that impede business’s effective operation, scalability and ultimate success. This includes challenges related to administrative systems, policies and procedures, employer and team collaboration, communication and external resources and partnerships aimed at enhancing the business’s overall success.

Throughout Chrystal’s professional journey, she observed that implementing and consistently refining effective systems, policies and practices such as building organizational culture, establishing company norms, creating manuals and guidelines, organizing the company’s financials and utilizing appropriate software platforms and marketing strategies, not only reduced staff burnout and turnover, but also elevated overall morale and productivity. This paved the way for greater success.

Why = Solution

My daughter tells me often — “mom, you ask a lot of questions and offer a lot of solutions”. Why, I am solution driven and thrive in the midst of conversations where there are ideas, and no clear direction. My entire career has involved a vast number of projects and processes that required attention to detail, organization and critical thinking to achieve the best solutions and outcomes. Whether it was managing the rehab of an entire office suite, developing a complex database, grant and financial management, creating organizational policies and procedures or planning and facilitating a company retreat, my approach is the same, ask a lot of questions, listen, and create viable solutions! From small tasks to major reorganization, I have worked with individuals, small businesses and large corporations to champion the tasks of project management and implementing organizational change. If you are at a critical moment, the solution is identifying where you are now, developing a strategy to achieve the desired outcome, and implementing the master plan. I am excited and ready to partner with you to develop a blueprint for success!

Kauffman Scholars Program - Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, Kansas City, Missouri

  • Managed over 3.5 million in scholarship payments annually working with parents, students, colleges and internal teams

  • Collaborated with an internal team to develop and implement a data mangement system to manage and track student requirements, scholarship awards, and payments

  • Reconciled payment distributions for audit purposes and financial projections

SchoolSmartKC, Kansas City, Missouri

  • Managed build-out of new office space including collaboration with architects and contractors to install infrastructure, facilitation of interior design, equipment and technology

  • Developed and implemented a data management system to manage, track and report on grant awards

  • Managed over 4 million in grant awards and contracts annually
